ENiCrMo-3 Welding Electrode
ENiCrMo-3 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum welding rod (60 Ni, 9 Mo , 22 Cr, 5 Fe, & 3.5 Nb + Ta.) that is commonly used for welding Ni-Cr-Mo alloys (ASTM B443, B444, & B446 specifications) & weld cladding application.
This rod is known for its high strength, corrosion resistance, and excellent weldability.
ENiCrMo-3 rod can be used for cryogenic temperature applications as well as high temperature up to 1000°F (540°C).
ENiCrMo-3 Welding Rod Specification
The American Welding Society (AWS) classifies ENiCrMo-3 as a nickel-chromium-molybdenum filler metal and assigns it the AWS A5.11 classification.
The F Number for ENiCrMo-3 rod is F Number 43.

ENiCrMo-3 Chemical Compositions
ENiCrMo-3 is composed of minimum of 55% nickel, 22% chromium, 9% molybdenum and 0.5% silicon.

ENiCrMo-3 Mechanical Properties
ENiCrMo-3 is known for its high strength and excellent weldability.
The rod has a minimum tensile strength of 110 ksi (760), a yield strength of 65 ksi (Yield strength not specified in AWS A5.11), and an elongation of 30%.
These mechanical properties make it suitable for a wide range of applications.
ENiCrMo-3 Welding Electrode Polarity
ENiCrMo-3 Welding Electrode is used with DCEP Polarity (Also called Reverse polarity). The welding arc is smooth with this rod and slag removal is easy.
ENiCrMo-3 Applications
ENiCrMo-3 is commonly used for welding high-temperature alloys such as Inconel 625, Inconel 718, and Incoloy 800as well as welding cryogenic steels such as Nickel base alloys.
It is also used for welding dissimilar metals, such as nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloys to stainless steels and carbon steel welding.
It is ideal for use in high-temperature and high-pressure applications, such as in the aerospace, petrochemical, and power generation industries.
